# Fossil Pokémon

Sources checked: September 24, 2026

Fossils can be restored into Pokémon in games with a restoration service. This guide groups the associated evolutionary families by their debut region, including Galar’s combined fossils.

This is the fossil-restoration family group. Relicanth’s living-fossil description and Genesect’s reconstructed origin do not make them fossil-item restorations for the player.
