As of 24 September 2026, these previously released catalogue forms have no verified new acquisition route. Scope covers core-series games, GO, HOME gifts and transferable side-game gifts. Existing downloads, event unlocks and retained research count; ownership or trading an existing specimen alone does not.

Past event forms

The list contains expired cap distributions, Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon and Dada Zarude. No whole species qualifies under this scope. Similar hats, ordinary Vivillon patterns and normal Zarude do not provide these exact forms; earlier ownership is not a new acquisition.

Comparison or prerequisite Pokémon

These are counterexamples, not unavailable members. Partner Cap’s QR gift and HOME’s Original Color Magearna reward remain acquisition routes. Retained event items, GO research and raid data can still unlock encounters; this does not mean their prerequisites are newly distributed today.

Spiky-eared Pichu can still be obtained in HeartGold and SoulSilver using the required retained event Pichu. Original Cap Pikachu can still result from evolving a retained matching Pichu in GO. Neither case guarantees a fresh prerequisite for every player.
