Certain forms combine two Pokémon through a game mechanic. The result belongs to the leading Pokémon, while its partner remains part of the combination. These are in-game forms, including Calyrex’s rider union.
Kyurem
Pokémon: 2The DNA Splicers combine Kyurem with Zekrom or Reshiram. Use the same item to separate them before transferring the partners.
Necrozma
Pokémon: 3The N-Solarizer combines Necrozma with Solgaleo; the N-Lunarizer combines it with Lunala. These fused forms are prerequisites for Ultra Burst in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Calyrex
Pokémon: 2The Reins of Unity unite Calyrex with Glastrier or Spectrier. This is a rider-and-steed union; use the reins again to separate them.
