Pokémon and Forms That Cannot Be Stored in HOME

Registering a form in HOME’s Pokédex is different from storing that exact form in a box. Some variants cannot enter; others revert or need separation first. These restrictions do not imply that the ordinary species is excluded.

Variants that cannot enter HOME

Spiky-eared Pichu, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire’s Cosplay Pikachu and the Let’s Go partner Pikachu and Eevee cannot enter HOME. Ordinary Pichu, Pikachu and Eevee are not excluded by these special-variant restrictions.

Battle transformations

Pokémon: 155

The transformed battle body cannot be stored. A Gigantamax-capable Pokémon can enter in its ordinary body and retain its Factor. Pokédex registration may still record a temporary form.

Comparison or prerequisite Pokémon

Spinda from GO or Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl has source-specific restrictions; Spinda is not globally barred. GO costumes and Shadow Pokémon, Eggs, and Pokémon recruited in Champions have additional transfer restrictions. HOME visitors to Champions remain HOME Pokémon.
