Paradox Pokémon are distinct species associated with ancient or futuristic appearances in Scarlet and Violet. Resemblance to another Pokémon does not establish an evolutionary relationship, and speculative accounts of their origins remain theories.
Most past-associated members use Protosynthesis and most future-associated members use Quark Drive; Koraidon and Miraidon have their own Abilities. None breed or evolve. Some encounters come from The Indigo Disk’s Perrin quests, while Walking Wake and Iron Leaves use event raids.
Ancient Paradox Pokémon
Pokémon: 11These designs evoke prehistoric organisms. Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt are Perrin’s Scarlet quest encounters; Koraidon is also a Legendary Pokémon.
Future Paradox Pokémon
Pokémon: 11Robotic appearances do not establish human manufacture. Iron Boulder and Iron Crown are Perrin’s Violet quest encounters, while Miraidon also belongs to the Legendary group.
