Cookies
-
By navigating and using our site you accept the use of cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored on your device to help us improve your experience and to provide us with information about how our website is being used. We use cookies to track your session, remember your preferences, and to provide you with a better experience.
-
Essential cookies: We use strictly necessary cookies for core functionality (e.g., session/authentication, security, language preferences). These cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality.
-
Third-party cookies: We avoid them. Our analytics are self-hosted and cookieless by default:
- Umami Analytics (self-hosted)
- Plausible Analytics (self-hosted)
In case we use at some point any third-party cookies, you will be asked before they are stored on your device through a cookie consent banner. This means that if you don't consent, you won't be tracked by these services.
If you don't see the cookie consent banner (even with all Ad-Block extensions disabled), it means we are not using any third-party cookies at the moment.
Analytics
- We use self-hosted instances of Umami and Plausible to measure page views and basic usage. These tools are privacy-friendly, do not use third-party cookies, and store only aggregated, non-personal data. IP addresses may be briefly processed to derive a coarse location (e.g., country) and then discarded.
Legal Bases (GDPR)
We process personal data under these legal bases:
- Contract: to provide and operate the services you request (e.g., account features).
- Legitimate interests: to maintain and improve the services, ensure security, and understand usage.
- Consent: when you opt into optional features that require it.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.

- Automatically: through your browser or device (see the list under “Personal Information We Collect About You”).
- Third parties: when you connect Patreon, Discord, Google, or similar, we receive identifiers you authorize.
Data Retention
- We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal or operational requirements.
- System and security logs may be retained for a limited period for fraud and abuse prevention and platform security.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers that operate under our instructions (hosting, protection, analytics we self-host) and only as needed to provide the services.
- When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the platform.
International Transfers
Depending on your location, your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to safeguard international transfers.
