Pokémon Items: Poké Balls, Berries, Held Items and More
Items have been part of every Pokémon adventure since Red and Green. Some are used from the Bag, like Poké Balls and evolution stones, while others are given to a Pokémon to hold so they work on their own in battle, as Berries and most competitive items do. Key items stay in the Bag for good and do things such as changing a Pokémon's form.
This reference groups every item in the PokéPC catalog by what it is used for, with a short summary of its effect, including the items a Pokémon cannot hold. Each item appears in one section only: Berries stay with Berries even though a Pokémon holds them, and evolution items that also work in battle are listed with the evolution items. Effects follow the latest games, so older games can differ.
