Pokémon That Evolve by Knowing a Move
Sources checked:
These evolutions require a known move or a move of a particular type, plus the game’s evolution trigger. Knowing a move differs from using it repeatedly; learning it does not always cause immediate evolution.
A specific known move
Pokémon: 14Keep the required move in the moveset when meeting the evolution trigger. Relearning an eligible move can restore access; forgetting it can prevent that evolution.

A known move type
Pokémon: 1Sylveon’s route requires a Fairy-type move and the appropriate friendship or affection condition for that game. A move of the right type alone is insufficient.
Generations VI and VII use affection for this route; generation VIII onward uses friendship. For other move evolutions, repeated move use in Legends: Arceus and knowing the move in Scarlet/Violet can be different routes to the same result.
